ACIM On-Line  in HTML

This first part of this section provides simple Table of Contents access to the HTML copy of all six volumes of the ACIM canon, with Volume 1 being available in the HLC version and the unproofed [Sub]Urtext version.  All other volumes are the “[Sub]Urtextversion.

This part of the site is designed to enable readers to quickly find any location in any of the six volumes of ACIM according to basic Table of Contents references such as chapter, section or lesson number.  If you know where you want to start reading, simply click on the volume name you want to load to view the Table of Contents for that volume.  Then click on the chapter, section or lesson number where you want to enter that volume.  The [Sub]Urtext text volume was not originally divided into chapters and sections.  For ease of cross-referencing we’ve retro-fitted the HLC chapter and section divisions into that volume.

In our tests Internet Explorer is a little bit (well a lot) faster loading the text than is Firefox.  Slow connection users should note that 3.5 Mb of text is loaded when you click on any “Contents” entry for the first time.  After that, with Firefox, the next “Contents” click simply moves the cursor in the text file in the tab in which it originally appeared, and at this point Firefox more than catches up to IE.  It’s only the first loading of the entire text file that is a bit slow.

Once you have ‘entered” from any Volume’s Table of Contents, the entire six volumes is loaded and can be searched with your browser’s search button (generally CTRL + F).  To get back to the “On-Line” menu page, use your browser’s “back” button.

For vastly more powerful search capability, check out the ON-LINE CONCORDANCES!

ACIM On-Line scans of original manuscripts

The second part of this section provides direct access to scanned pdf files of the original manuscripts for the HLC, and all six volumes of the [Sub]Urtext.

Each copy is paginated such that if you “search” for a given page number in the pdf viewer, you’ll actually get that page!  I did that because in the way these materials first appeared on the net, looking up a specific page in Adobe viewer was a nuisance.  Now just type the page number and you’re there! The page numbers are cross referenced to the Concordance and HTML copy (above) for ease of double-checking!  Each of these files is also accessible through the Concordance Navigator frames as “View Manuscripts” in the Six Volume Concordance and “View Whole Manuscript” in the [Sub]Urtext Concordance.

While a substantial amount of proofing has been done on all HTML documents except the Sub-Urtext, and all errors we currently know about have been fixed, the proofing cannot said to be finished and it is likely you will stumble across some remaining errors.  This is one reason for providing the original photocopies … you can very easily check the HTML copies against the original and if you find any discrepancies, please do let us know!
